Voranava or Voronovo (Belarusian: Воранава, Russian: Вороново, Polish: Woronów, Lithuanian: Voranavas) is a town in Belarus, in Grodno Region. It is the administrative center of the Voranava district. It is located about 32 km (20 mi) from Lida and 13 km (8 mi) from the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. (from wikipedia).
St. George’s Cathedral (or St. Yury’s, I really don’t understand) was build in 1910. There is a huge restored organ of 1897 which produces a really magic sound.
I just made beautiful photos in Swiss Valley in Grodno. Today Belarus celebrates independence day, but this place had few people.
The Grodno TV tower was built in 1968 and have 254 meters height. It’s 7th build in top of the highest buildings of Belarus. It works over thirty years without serious issues and signal from this tower can be received 17 km away from the building.
